Ambrose O’Boyle

Everyone at the Rainbow Alliance is desperately saddened by the news that Ambrose O’Boyle, founder member and former trustee of HRRA, passed away on Friday 2nd August. Our thoughts are with Les, his partner, and his friends and family. His passionate support for the LGBT community, and his advocacy for our causes, will be deeply missed. We hope you will join us in keeping his life work going, by supporting each other, and by continuing to campaign for equality in all areas, for all members of our community.

  1. As a member of Sussex Police I met Ambrose at various meetings and events. He was passionate about what he believed in and without doubt made a signifcant contribution to promoting equality and supporting those from the LGBT community. From my perspective he did this with warmth and humour. My sincere condolences to his family and friends
