Hastings and Rother Rainbow Alliance (HRRA) held a successful AGM on Friday 28th October at Bexhill Youth and Community Centre. Speakers included the Mayor of Bexhill,   Councillor Elford, and Matt West, East Sussex Hate Crime Officer.
A new Committee was elected and members gave updates on projects, including the Trans Group, the Walking Group, Bridge group, Supper Club, Theatre group and Book Clubs. Sally Taylor gave a talk about the new Healthy Living Club for LGBT people over 50 which is run by Age UK with support from HRRA.
The business meeting was followed by a buffet, raffle, music and dancing. Local authors VG Lee and Paul Burston signed copies of their new books. Co Chair Nadine West said “It was a great evening and we had a good turn out.”
