This HRRA group began way back in 2011 and offers support, information and friendship to those people who are questioning their gender identity or at any stage of transitioning.
We are a peer social support group and, like the rest of HRRA, we are volunteers.
We run regular social meet ups: walks, meals out, pub quiz teams, meetings in cafes, trips to art galleries, museums, and theatres.
Our email address is email@example.com

This has included cinema trips, beach picnics, the board game cafe and a day out in Brighton over the past year since the group launched in February 2022
Bexhill Women's Afternoon Tea Group
Bexhill women will continue meeting on the first Thursday of the month, but the time will change to 2-4pm, as the Front Room will be closing at 4pm in future. Hope you can still make it.
The Front Room, 71 Devonshire Road, Bexhill TN40 1BD, is at the sea end of Devonshire Road, on the right as you walk up from the sea, opposite the Trattoria Deli.
Join us for chat and refreshments. There could be 6 or 16 of us. If you’re new to Hastings or Rother it’s a great place to start meeting fellow lesbians.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Mens Meet Up Group
Every other Wednesday
1400-1600 ish (2pm to 4pm)
Forbidden Fruit bar/cafe, 22 Grand Parade, St Leonards on Sea (on the seafront between London Road and Warrior Square)
It is a group for those from the LGBTQIA+ community who identify as men. It is predominantly gay men. It is a great place to meet new friends. We have a lovely mix of people and generally just sit and chat/laugh over coffee or something stronger!!
It might also suit those who maybe aren’t confident to go out on their own or are new to the area. Also ideal for those who prefer day times, especially if you have to come in from somewhere a bit more rural or isolated.
For more information or if you are coming for the first time, send us a private message and I we can hopefully greet you when you arrive. Contact email@example.com for more information
Rainbow Book Group
The Rainbow Book Group meets every six weeks to discuss a book proposed by its members.
The group has a focus on books by gay authors or with a gay men’s theme; it complements the lesbian book group, and is open to all members of HRRA.
If you are interested please contact Michael Moor to find out more: firstname.lastname@example.org
The walking group generally meets every third Sunday of the month for a 3-6 mile walk, with shorter options available where possible. It ends with a pub lunch that non-walkers are welcome to join. For this group to continue, new walk leaders are required. For more info email email@example.com
The Bridge Group, started many years ago, generally meets once a month, on the first Sunday afternoon of the month, in St Leonards.
Our monthly play is an opportunity for social interaction and activity, and we currently meet for a spot of lunch before the play begins for those interested, although that is completely optional.
The play is generally not as serious as some of the local dedicated bridge clubs, with plenty of chatting and laughter between hands. Beginners as well as those that have played previously are welcomed and the more experienced players are always happy to guide anyone who is new to the game or feels they they need assistance.
For more info please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a newly launched group for 2023. HRRA has received a small amount of funding to set the group up. During 2023 we will be aiming to put on a production in October and we are also thinking a pantomime might be enjoyable. If you would like to get involved in the drama group we are looking for new members willing to act, direct, stage manage, etc. - email@example.com
